In leer gelebten Räumen,
ist nichts mehr zu hör'n,
die unwegsame stille,
droht alles zu verzehren,
der ewig lange schatten,
hat sich alles einverleibt,
kein Stern steht mehr am Himmel,
doch die frage bleibt.
Was bleibt von uns übrig,
wenn der letzte Ton verklingt,
wenn niemand mehr da draussen,
unsere lieder singt.
